Quaiser Abdullah

Quaiser Abdullah lives by the adage of “teaching a person how to fish.” He believes that if trained correctly, anyone can learn the necessary applications and systems to make their professional and personal lives efficient. Quaiser is a dedicated trainer, instructor and educator with over 10 years experience in the IT field.

Quaiser started off cleaning computer keyboards and monitors for a second-hand IT sales company in 1997, and within 4 months, was building computers for sale to the general public. Within 6 months of employment, he was the main technician and trainer at the fledgling IT company, which paid him “when money was available” and if he was paid, he received about $5.00 an hour.

He continued working in IT and eventually became and adjunct instructor in the lab component of the Computer and Applications undergraduate course at Temple University in Philadelphia PA. As an adjunct instructor, he instructs students on how to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Dreamweaver. He is also currently employed as a Senior Information Systems Training Specialist at Temple University, where he trains the staff and faculty on a number of software and systems in use at the university.

Quaiser is a certified Microsoft Office Specialist Master Instructor and a certified IC3 instructor. He also has his ICDL-US certification. He is currently pursuing his certifications in the Microsoft Office 2007 series. In addition to his IT certifications, Quaiser possesses a BA in Political Science and a Masters in Adult and Organizational Development. He is a certified Adult Training specialist and continues to work with adults in the community at large, where he teaches people “how to fish for success.”
